Decent Stay, But Some Issues Need Addressing

The front desk was polite during check-in.
The room I received was quite small. There was hardly any natural light. It reminded me of a cave. The view from the window was of the kitchen preparation area.. I expected better, given the price.

The location was quite advantageous! it was near a subway station, and i found many attractions within walking distance, very handy. the room was clean and well equipped. I found it perfect for my needs. the staff was super helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy.
I thought the room lighting was a bit dim. It made reading in the evening a slight challenge.

A Romantic Getaway

safe hotel great entertainment enjoyable weekend
I enjoyed the convenience to many neighborhoods. We found great entertainment and dining easily. The hotel felt safe and secure. I really recommend this boutique hotel, and I hope to return soon. Maybe next winter.
The lack of a top sheet and the duvet cover not cleaned regularly concerned me. What if they do not wash the duvet after every guest. It made me nervous.

My room included bottled water and delicious salted caramels. The bed felt so comfortable and I had amazing water pressure in the shower. These things helped me to feel relaxed.

The location is convenient for travel from Newark. The express bus stop is very near from the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of many places we wanted to visit.
